It is certain about the genes and asthma that there is no single asthma gene. There are number of genes which interact and then cause the receptiveness of asthma. It is possible that a person may have any of those genes to prompt her/him to the asthma without having any symptoms of it. The genetic research for asthma is very complicated because of several interactions among genetic predisposition, and environment. Despite of these complications researchers claim to find out several genes that are considered to be the cause of asthma.
