Children Cognitive Development Essay

This is a research proposal about the effect that the primary school teachers have on cognitive development of children. The purpose of this research is to depict various ways that primary school teachers can enhance cognitive progress among children. Cognitive development refers to the capability of children to think and reason. This applies to children of ages 6 to 12 years whereby teachers play a significant role of ensuring that they are able to progress and reason in concrete ways (Abbey, 2000).Children Cognitive Development Essay

What the Research Could Do

This procedure that incorporate cognitive development among children are carried out in availability of objects and events that revolve around them. In children, adolescent reveals the beginning of their growth which incorporates more complex reasoning stages. This research will exhibit the effect of teachers when they impart cognitive development among children by aiding them to reason from known principles.

Methodology

This is a logical step by step procedure for conducting the study. This will incorporate observation and use of interview (Flavell, 2007). During observation, my team and I will check on the photograph that majority of children choose as their favorite teacher. We will interview them, assess the effects that the teacher has contributed in their cognitive development and take notes to aid in this report.
