Three examples of tool-use in nonhuman primates include using their hands to bang and roll a  clam (food) against trees and rocks for a very long time until it opens.  Another includes using their tails as a sponge in order to reach water.  Lastly, use their brains in order to memorizes the tides, so they can get food.  Yes, nonhuman primates demonstrate convincing examples of culture because they interact socially and they become dependent on one another.

Three examples of ways that nonhuman primates self-medicate include, rubbing the pipa plant all over their bodies to use as insect repellent.  Also, by looking for and taking away the parasites on the primates fur in order to keep the harm away.  Finally, nursing each other and checking their injuries is another way to self medicate.
