Research Paper and Poster Presentation for the Nursing Roles Practicum Research Paper: The student will prepare a scholarly paper based on nursing research through in-depth study of a chosen subject. The student will use the APA Manual or sites listed below for guidance in preparing the paper, especially in the areas of abbreviations, numbers, page numbers, punctuation, citations, and references. Evaluation will be made using the rubric provided. Poster Board and Presentation: The student will create a tri-board Poster related to scholarly paper topic. Students will lead a 10-minute discussion of poster and scholarly paper topic. Evaluations will be made using the oral poster evaluation rubric provided. Sign up for topics will be on 1/7/19. Topic changes must be approved with Mrs. Jacob. Draft of research paper is due on 1/18/19. Research Paper is due on 1/25/19 and Poster Presentation is on 3/12/19.
