Evidence Matrix for Health Disparate Population 1. Identify a specific sub-population that experiences health disparities. These may be ethnic, socio-economic, regional, age, uninsured, or a mix of factors such as inner city immigrant older women. 2. Choose a specific health disparity for this population such as chronic mental illness, diabetes, domestic violence, colorectal cancer, etc. 3. Do a literature search and obtain 8-10 scientific journal articles that report research on this population and this health problem. Systematic review or professional guideline articles are acceptable. You may include one article about current health policy related to this issue. 4. Complete the Evidence Matrix following the example provided 5. Assign a level of evidence (I to VII) using the guide provided. Grading Criteria 2 points – Content of matrix is complete and specific to the selected clinical problem. 2 points – The content presented represents the current state of evidence. 2 points – Evidence level is appropriately set. 2 points – Logic, clarity, and internal consistency of matrix 2 points – Correct APA format
