Examples of inter professional communication observed

During the IPE simulation activity, there were three main examples observed in relation to patient health care. These examples came from an injured patient during a training session and include athletic trainers, nurses, and respiratory therapist. At the very beginning of the event, a victim was lying on the ground, which could be a result of injuries sustained during a training session. Afterwards, tow rescuers mainly consisting of athletic trainers came in the scene. Their work is to provide immediate emergency services to victims. In this process, they communicate with victims by asking questions related to the cause of injury. They provide first aid services as they await an ambulance in emergency cases. In addition, the trainers provide communication links between ER nurses and injured victims by explaining the causes of injuries or medication provided.
