Investigate the various change models that are currently being used by organizations. After evaluating these models, develop a change model that is appropriate for your field and will work within the culture of your organization. This model should be used to implement a strategic process that will assist your organization in integrating change and responding to internal or external driving forces that influence organizational success.
Using a graphic organizer of your choice, create a visual representation of your model (flow chart, concept map, etc.). Based on a critical analysis of your organization’s culture and behavior, the design of your model will be unique and relevant to it. Your model, on the other hand, must demonstrate the steps required for realistic implementation. Your model will be evaluated based on the quality of strategic implementation you create, the support you provide for your model, and the incorporation of the following concepts:
1. Methods for determining the need for change
2. Method and criteria for selecting individuals or teams needed for a change initiative
3. Communication methods
4. Strategies for gaining stakeholder support and overcoming opposition
5. Strategies for Implementation
6. Strategies for Long-Term Sustainability
Prepare a 15-20 slide PowerPoint presentation to present your model and demonstrate how this model is relevant to your organization and why it will work well within the culture of your organization. Finally, explain why this model will result in long-term change when most change initiatives fail. This change model will be used in your final paper.
