Explore the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) website:www.ninr.nih.gov/ Review their publication Bringing science to life: NINR strategic plan (2011, p. 7) to identify the current priorities for nursing research. Do you agree with the priorities or would you recommend addition or elimination of some of the priorities? What effect do the nursing research priorities have on nursing researchers? What criteria must be met in order to consider a practice, evidence-based? Provide examples. Explain the role quality plays in evidence-based practice? Based on the information you’ve learned to this point, write a research proposal that relates to the topics you chose for a previous assignment. Be sure to include the following information in your proposal: Hypothesis Theory Design model Method Anticipated results Potential Dissemination Avenues The assignment should be between 1500 and 2000 words in length and contain at least two scholarly sources, in addition to the textbo

SourceYou must proofread your paper. But do not strictly rely on your computer’s spell-checker and grammar-checker; failure to do so indicates a lack of effort on your part and you can expect your grade to suffer accordingly. Papers with numerous misspelled words and grammatical mistakes will be penalized. Read over your paper – in silence and then aloud – before handing it in and make corrections as necessary. Often it is advantageous to have a friend proofread your paper for obvious errors. Handwritten corrections are preferable to uncorrected mistakes.
Use a standard 10 to 12 point (10 to 12 characters per inch) typeface. Smaller or compressed type and papers with small margins or single-spacing are hard to read. It is better to let your essay run over the recommended number of pages than to try to compress it into fewer pages.
Likewise, large type, large margins, large indentations, triple-spacing, increased leading (space between lines), increased kerning (space between letters), and any other such attempts at “padding” to increase the length of a paper are unacceptable, wasteful of trees, and will not fool your professor.
• The paper must be neatly formatted, double-spaced with a one-inch margin on the top, bottom, and sides of each page. When submitting hard copy, be sure to use white paper and print out using dark ink. If it is hard to read your essay, it will also be hard to follow your argument.

The National Institute of Nursing Research is one on the largest funding source for nursing research. They have been a vital part in the transitioning of nursing as a being defined as an art and a science. Art meaning we are caring, nurturing and science meaning we provide case base on the best evidence base practice available.
History of NINR Nursing research gained a significant place in the nursing profession with the funding of the National Center for Nursing Research (NCRC), which was established on April 16, 1986 and later became National Institute for Nursing Research (NINR) in 1994. The initial legislation that led to NINR establishment was the outcome of two federal studies. In the 1983, the Institute of Medicine (IOM) report that recommended nursing research is included in the study of biomedical and behavioral science and in 1984 when NIH approved nursing research to be united with their mission. The NINR was established to foster the foundation of nursing research and is now located on the main NIH Campus at 9000 Rockville Pike, in Bethesda in Building 31, the Claude D. Pepper Building. Their mission is about health promotion, health prevention, and health disparities among individuals, families, and communities. They plan to integrate basic nursing research and training to have the best. Institute of Nursing Research
