This Systemic Review takes a closer look at what are the medical and social consequences of preterm birth. It is hypothesized that families with preterm babies who have any morbidities have a lot of need for medical treatment which in the long run will disturb the process of having attachment postnatally and thus this will have an impact on the parental stress, and parent-child-relationship, and quality of life of the family.
