Students are required to select ONE of the seven themes of the
module and prepare a critical evaluation of the usefulness and
application of research in that area on (i) policy formation, and (ii)
practice.
Your answer should:
(i) draw from relevant course theory to underpin your work
(ii) critically evaluate the relationship between research, policy
formation and practice – not merely describe it
(iii) include specific and relevant practical examples to help illustrate
your answer
(iv) identify any gaps in knowledge and make recommendations
