Scholars in the field of nursing informatics have developed definitions and theoretical frameworks to guide their work based on the ANA standards and scope of practice for nursing informatics. Directions: •Identify and select a theoretical framework developed to address nursing informatics and developed by an Informatics nurse. Benner, Rogers, Lewin, etc, presented in the Module 2 PowerPoint presentation, are NOT nurse informaticists. •Develop a 3-5 page paper identifying and examining the nursing informatics theoretical framework. ◦Identify and present a brief professional biography of the author.
