Health Issues Among Post-Secondary Students

The following are number of health issues among the post-secondary students:

Lack of physical activities: The first and foremost reason for the lack of physical active it is a sedentary lifestyle which can lead to various harmful diseases like Blood pressure, Cardiovascular, Obesity, Osteoporosis, Depression, Anxiety, Diabetes and risk of cancer. Mental Health: It is also a leading issue in today’s youngsters due to depression and anxiety which brings mental disorder, for example, bipolar and Schizophrenia.

Drugs Addiction: Some of the main causes of drug addiction are peer pressure, Family and personnel issues, experimenting and could be the pressure of study. Poor Nutrition: The poor nutrition means taking insufficient or poorly balanced diet with no with regular physical activity, which can cause many health problems.

Obesity: Obesity is defined as having a body mass index (BMI) of 30 and more. Eating more calories than you burn in daily activity and exercise causes obesity. Over time, these extra calories add up and cause you to gain weight.

Communicable Diseases: The communicable diseases are those which transmitted from one infected person to another by direct means. Financial Issues: the Financial issue is the situation when a person is tensed regarding money which can cause you a stress. More, I may also lead to the mental health.
