Does computerization of nursing education present specific challenges that other disciplines may not encounter? I was honestly having trouble thinking of any challenges I have had on a personal level with online learning because I enjoy it so much. After doing some research though I came across the challenge of online learning and having the wrong operating system to access the online database. In 2015, Mbuva wrote an article that describes some challenges of online database systems, specifically blackboard which is widely used and the limitations some students face if they have the wrong computer or operating system. I had trouble accessing blackboard with my Amazon Kindle that I purchased specifically to have for school work when I am on the go because I like to travel and I am out of town frequently. The kindle will not access blackboard, thus forcing me to purchase a laptop that will that is big and bulky for travel purposes.
