Assignment Description: This qualitative (Ethnography)critical appraisal paper will include the following four (4) components: 1. Introduction – Thought provoking statement which highlights the significance of the topic for clinical nursing practice – Purpose/thesis statement – Identification of study phenomenon/phenomena within the research study – Description of how your paper will be organized 2. Critical Appraisal – Critical appraisal as per the Modified Guide to an Overall Critique of a Qualitative Research Report – Clear explanation and rationale provided to support your critique – Integration of scholarly literature to support position within critical appraisal 3. Research Utilization and Evidence-Based Practice – Choose one significant finding and make one clinical practice recommendation based on this finding; beyond what the author(s) may have suggested. Discuss the feasibility of this recommendation and how you could address it. – Integration of scholarly literature to support recommendation 4. Conclusion – Restatement of the purpose/thesis statement – Concluding assessment of the study – Reflection on what was learned from engaging in the critical appraisal process Paper must adhere to APA 6th edition (2010) guidelines In addition to the course textbook (Woo, 2019), Must provide reference the article provided, and two additional peer reviewed articles.
