This paper should be written in APA style and should contain a typed; Title page abstract two to three pages per article synthesis and reference page at the end.
Choose an articles from professional journals that discuss a topic of interest from your course outline in Organizational Theory. They should not be nursing journals but should apply to health care organizations.
1. Sources: Three articles (15%) from professional journals
from non-nursing journals from 2012-present 2. Abstract/Introduction: Make a general statement introducing your topic including the reasons this is an important area to study. (2%)
3. Summary: Provide an in-depth summary of each article. This should include: ? An introductory sentence that mentions the title and author of the article to be
summarized. ? The general focus of the paper ? How can this information can be applied to Nursing? ? If a research paper?describe the research that was used ? Author?s conclusions
4. Synthesis of the Articles: Provide a general discussion of the articles and discuss how these theories or ideas can or cannot be applied to health care in the current state of health care delivery and economy according to the authors. This is not an opinion paper. Avoid the use of the pronoun I. (8%)
