developmental tasks of family and technology

Many couples are starting their family later in life and recent medical advances in health care have prolonged the reproductive capabilities of some women and contributed to greater longevity in late adulthood.
1. Given your knowledge of developmental tasks of family, parents, and early and middle adulthood, describe the potential impact of having a child at age 30, age 40 or age 50 or older using Erikson and Piaget.
2. Identify those developmental tasks in which health care providers would be most likely to help and those in which the health care provider would need to find assistance or make referrals.
3. Describe how technology is influencing health and development and how technology may be used in a positive manner for health in this group.
4. Describe interventions could assist these families to cope.
