Practice observation, analysis, and writing skills and to increase the student’s lived experience with artifacts from other cultures
Objective: Practice observation, analysis, and writing skills and to increase the student’s lived experience with artifacts from other cultures. The student will demonstrate an increased knowledge base related to practices of one other culture.

Process: The student willGo to Gilcrease or a similar Museum (closed on Mondays) andfind 2 fetishes, symbols or totems.

Student will write a scholarly paper that will discuss the beliefs and practices of this culture or ethnic group. The paper will be graded according to the included rubric.
