Just the findings of the studies are included in literature review not methodologies or what they studied or what their variables were.
When there is no direct research on your subject find a related area (womens magazine because there was nothing on teen magazines).
Use direct quotes rarely. Its best to paraphrase.
Report sparingly on the details of the literature. Summarize the findings briefly.
You can start with names or with the findings:
Snyder (1997) found that 71% of the active roles went to males
