Examine the three amendments to the U.S. Constitution that specifically deal with a defendant’s rights: the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendments. Special focus will center on the purpose of the right to remain silent, a provision of the Fifth Amendment, and the various provisions of the Sixth Amendment including, but not limited to, right to counsel, right to confront witnesses, and right to a speedy trial.
