The author of the article reveals the fact that the criticism of the ACA was partially right but the overall effect of the ACA on the US healthcare and economy was still rather positive than negative. The researcher conducted the in-depth study of economic effects and identified positive trends in the creation of new jobs after the introduction of the ACA. However, the author concludes that the major positive effect of the ACA on the US economy is the slowdown of the growth of health care costs. The slowdown of the growth of health care costs because growing health care costs became the major challenge for the US economy.
