What should the UN do to address the impact of the pandemic on democracy and human right

Personally, I would like to focus my research on  one of these questions:

1) Democracy, human rights and the rule of law: What are the main functions of the UN in support of strengthening the rule of law and respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms?

2) Gender equality and democracy: What can the UN do to increase women’s political participation and representation?

3) What should the UN do to address the impact of the pandemic on democracy and human rights?

* This is a  long project and I really need you to fallow all the instruction.

* Try to find the sources based on any of these three research question. Only one research question is needed. Please, focus the project on the srongest evidence that you find.
