Schizophrenia Essay

Schizophrenia is a brain disorder that can affect everybody regardless of age, gender, and social status. It was first identified as a mental illness by Dr. Emile Kraepelin in 1887. Traditionally, it was regarded as an abnormality and was treated using traditional ways, such as exorcism, magic, music play, and skull drilling. Numerous researches by different professionals, such as Eugen Bleuler, identified it as a brain disorder and classified it into various types: disorganized, catatonic, paranoid, and differential.
