Porter’s National Diamond Analysis Essay

The Porter Diamond Model has been developed by Michael Porter, which explains the reasons and factors as to why companies become competitive in particular setting. The approach makes use of clusters of industries, where the competitiveness of one company is compared with performance of other companies. There are six key factors, which are included in this model that help in analyzing the competitiveness. The factors are demand conditions, firm’s strategy, structure and rivalry, government, chance, related and supporting industries and factor conditions.
