Your written project will be a patient teaching project on three Anti-Diabetic Medications. In your paper, you will discuss the Drug Classification, Mechanism of Action, metabolism and excretion, Pregnancy Category, type of Diabetes Mellitus normally treated, common side effects and interventions (if any), and adverse reactions and interventions(if any).
You will also develop an easy to read chart with the same information in an abbreviated form (bullets).
The project must use APA style consisting of a cover page, abstract, main body with proper citations, references and chart, in this order as outlined in the APA manual. The reference list must have a minimum of 5 proper references for each antibiotic. Three of those references must be Medscape (Emedicine), the Drug Manufacturer Resource Site for each antibiotic (a primary resource) and your Kee’s Pharmacology book. The rest must be expert references which you can use the library for research. Please use Rubric below for grading breakdown.
