As a master’s practice nurse, issues dealing with practice, healthcare disparity, healthcare literacy, education, research, funding, licensure/credentialing, management delivery systems, and access to health care can be examined. For this assignment, students will be introduced to Power Point (PPT) and Kaltura. Students will develop a PPT to share new knowledge relating to a population health issue and then present using Kaltura media. Students will research and examine a current population health issues in today’s health care environment and develop a presentation to share new knowledge related to the issue and how the master’s prepared nursing role affects population health to improve patient and health outcomes.
