It is called a systematic review and meta analysis of haploidentical stem cell transplantation in younger adults with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The topic should be narrowed down to be very specific. As a possible example, something like the use of cyclophosphamide (commonly used when mismatch) and to look at patients after engraftment in time period 6 month to 1 year after transplant. For the paper only primary resources that give data should be used. And also papers should be used from different groups. 1.    ABSTRACT

1.1 Importance

It has been concluded that hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is one of the fundamental treatment procedures for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The use of cyclophosphamide after a transplant has also been on the rise in the younger adults with the condition of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia though its specific role is yet to be determined.

1.2 Objective

The analysis’s main objective was to derive and synthesize established studies about stem cell transplants’ effects with associated donor transplants, unrelated donors, or unrelated donors for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in younger adults.

The primary information sources were Google Scholar, Science Direct, PubMed, and Cochrane Library. These platforms have the necessary articles appropriate for the study. The keywords used during the research included haploidentical, acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, and cyclophosphamide.

1.4  Study Selection

Literature studies of haploidentical stem cell transplantation are eligible for this meta-analysis for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia

1.5 Data Extraction and Synthesis

The study applied pooled odds ratios which were calculated using a random-effects model. The study applied both qualitative and quantitative approaches in extracting the relevant data from the selected articles.

The primary outcomes for the study were relapse, all-cause mortality and non-relapse mortality,

The study evaluated a total of 26 reports. In total, 22,974 participants participated in all studies. The study primarily compared the increases in all-cause mortality compared with matching associated donors, comparable all-cause mortality compared to matched unrelated donors, and decreases in all-cause life compared to unrelated donors have been combined to treat haploidentical stem cell transplants and post-transplant cyclophosphane. In non-relapse mortality, haploidentical stem cell transplants were linked to worse results than matching related donors in the post-transplant treatment of cyclophosphamide. However, the results were better than matched non-related donors and inappropriately associated donors.

1.8 Conclusions and Relevance

The study indicates that the optimum donor conditions for haploidentical stem cell transplant involve matching associated donors with post-transplant cyclophosphamide therapy.
