The first article considered for the annotated bibliography is titled the rejoinder to and effect of the Ebola epidemic towards a plan for interdisciplinary research, authored in 2018. The primary purpose of the research article was to examine and explore the priorities from the perspective of those who had a direct experience of the EVD sweeping in Guinea. Researchers further explored the need for the health and Association KRS watch while identifying the existing research gaps from perspectives of diverse groups (Michael, Erica, Mandy, Abdourahime and Jeremy, 2018). I would use this article as a rich literature review in my future research in similar areas and other areas that call for policy implementation in alleviating the emerging health and wellbeing challenges.

The second article considered for the assignment is titled Ebola response impact on public health programs in Africa. The primary focus of this research article to highlight the various ways of capacity-building determinations like the ones executed in West Africa can be augmented after a public health crisis to enhance the preparedness for similar events in the future. The researchers highlighted the importance of policy that develops the capability to detect and respond today various wellbeing threats (Barbara, Kainne , Amanda, Lise , Desmond, Sara, Amari, Sakoba, Tolbert , and John, 2017). The article is resourceful in offering a vivid description of the capacity building after the Outbreak of Ebola in countries such as Sierra Leone, Liberia auntie guinea focusing on four areas which are emergency response, laboratory capacities, surveillance, and workforce development.

This article was selected because it can enhance the learners’ understanding of issues confronting policy development. Furthermore, the article is a peer-reviewed one and has utilized comprehensive sources of literature review coupled with the provision of in-depth analysis in policy development to alleviate the challenges associated with the Ebola epidemic. Therefore, this article can be used in current and contemporary research as a rich source of literature review and inside all emerging health crises and policy development and execution areas to resolve the issue amicably.

The third article considered for the annotated bibliography is titled Ebola virus outbreak in the DRC Congo rethinking humanitarian approaches published in 2020. The authors demonstrate that the DRC Congo presents a thought-provoking context to respond to public health issues. The fourth article considered for the annotated bibliography is titled overview control policies and lessons learned in the CDC reaction to the 2014 to 2016 Ebola endemic. The authors demonstrate that the CDC’S comeback was the leading in the organization’s history and was simultaneously directed at curbing the epidemic in West-Africa while creating readiness for the same in the USA (Beth, Inger, Daniel, Thomas, Nichol, John, Jordan, 2019). Even though there have been multiple outbreaks of Ebola in West Africa, the outbreaks occurring from 1976 have offered the CDC and other national responders an accurate acknowledgement of the infection and ways to curb its blowout presented new challenges. The piece demonstrates that the West Africa epidemic of the Ebola virus plays a fundamental role in highlighting the criticality of detecting and responding to emerging public health issues. Some of the factors that made the initial response be slowly captured in the article include poor health and societal infrastructure, inadequate health services providers, policy development the local’s unfamiliarity with the disease. The authors demonstrate that the lessons gained from the recent Ebola outbreak in Saharan Africa play a fundamental role in influencing the regional approach outbreak add on the factors that can create hindrances for effective management of the coffee the Covid 19. This article is a resourceful source of information that I would try in my current and future organization to influence positive transformations in decision making and make informed decisions as a Healthcare worker in meeting the People’s needs in their most vulnerable moments. The article is also helpful for national and international governments to make sound policies on handling contemporary issues such as the coronavirus pandemic in most affected regions such as African nations and other countries.
