During this week’s lecture, we discussed how biochemistry makes significant contributions to the fields of agriculture (foods), fuel industry, and medicine.  Read the article and watch the two short videos on GMOs.  Did the article and videos cause you to change your opinion regarding GMOs?  Do you agree or disagree with the points made in the article and videos?  Do you believe GMO foods should be labeled in grocery stores?  Do GMOs solve a problem (like starvation) or create a problem (unknown long-term effects)?
